drapes: west elm, hardware: west elm, shades: the shade store
One of my favorite home stores is Room and Board. They don’t have a location in Phoenix, so I have to get my fix when visiting New York, Chicago or San Francisco. I love to wander around their store and look for ways I can incorporate items into our condo. Room and Board recently partnered with The Shade Store to offer window treatments, which was perfect because we’d been thinking about replacing our standard blinds. We decided on the solar shade to block out some of the Arizona sunshine, but still wanted to be able to see out of the windows. After receiving a few (free) samples, we agreed on the shade color for the den and guest bedroom and the rest was easy! We measured the width and height and chose the bracket and chain color and then waited for the delivery. The installation was painless and the result is a much more appealing way to keep out the heat from the sun! The Shade Store has free shipping and often has sales of 10-15% off.

We haven’t picked out drapes for the den yet so we just have the solar shade. It definitely needs some drapes though!
