Two more sleeps until Christmas! I’m always really excited for these next few days. I love the food and festivities. Lawson is still too young to understand it, but we’ve been singing holiday songs (Rudolph is a favorite) and prepping him with lots of “ho, ho, ho, Merry Christmas.”
I’ll admit I am in awe that tomorrow is Christmas Eve. It doesn’t seem quite real yet. Maybe because we didn’t end up getting a tree and don’t have any gifts out for fear a certain toddler would rip right into them.
Tonight is our annual viewing of The Holiday, hopefully with a glass of wine in hand. That should put me in the Christmas spirit. Christmas Eve will be spent wrapping gifts and getting ready for Santa after the kiddos are in bed. On Christmas morning, our plan is to have breakfast and open presents before joining family for the rest of the day. We’re in our fantasy football championship and will be watching scores too!
