Mother’s Day Gift Ideas

Mother's-Day-Gift-Guide

It wasn’t until I had Lawson and Sybil that I realized how hard parenthood can be. While we should celebrate our mothers and fathers every day, they certainly deserve a day of their own. From saying a simple thank you for all she’s done for you to a more extravagant gift, make sure you celebrate the women in your life this Sunday. If you have kids, until they’re old enough to adequately express thanks on their own, it’s daddy’s responsibility to do it for them.

These are a few of my favorite things and some on my wish list that I think would make great Mother’s Day gifts. So here it is: my Mother’s Day gift guide. Get to shopping!

Off the Shoulder Bow top – I am a fan of the off the shoulder trend, but I refuse to wear a strapless bra. This top is the best of both worlds.

Le Creuset roaster – I love my Le Creuset dutch oven. It’s one of my most used kitchen items. I have a feeling this roaster would be used just as often.

Cuyana Lounge set – Everything I’ve purchased from Cuyana has quickly become a favorite. As I get older, I find the value in a set of pajamas. This pima cotton set would be a great addition (comes in blush and grey).

Maya Brenner necklace – My Maya Brenner necklace with Lawson and Sybil’s initials is one of my most precious possessions. I guarantee any mother would love to receive one.

Vintner’s Daughter serum – This tired mama’s skin needs all the help it can get. This serum has a cult following. It’s an investment, but what better investment to make than in your skin?!

Hinge Flat Slide – Summer sandals that are easy to slide on and off. Under $60. Enough said.

Aesop hand cream – My favorite hand cream in a new to me scent.

Dress – A pretty dress to make her feel pretty.

Dyson cordless vacuum (not pictured) – This is the only household appliance that is ever acceptable to gift the woman in your life. I use it every day.
