At this point you’re probably aware the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale started last week for cardholders. Tomorrow it opens to the public. I mentioned my top 5 favorite picks last Friday (see them here) and have put together a full list of the best of the best (at least according to me) for women, kids and men.
The items for women are all something I own, bought or would love to pick up if I had an unlimited budget. You’ll notice most are pretty casual (no dresses or heels). Partially because I didn’t love those items, but also because they don’t fit my lifestyle right now. The things that I’ve bought so far…mostly for me, some for others: AG distressed skinny jeans, rag & bone skinny jeans, Frame staggered hem jeans (these keep selling out and getting restocked), Rails plaid shirt, Pleione blouse (in black, the pink is sooo pretty though), Lush tee, Natori bra (in back, waiting for navy to get restocked), Patagonia baby girl jacket (sold out online), Bonobos chinos. My first online order arrives tomorrow so I haven’t tried everything on yet. At least 1 pair of the jeans will get returned, but after living in maternity clothes for the past 2 years I’m ready for some fresh pieces in my closet. If only I had any idea how they’re going to fit!
I know everyone seems to keep talking about it, but the Nordstrom Anniversary sale is honestly that good. It may seem hard to buy fall and winter items during the heat of the summer, but come fall you’ll be so glad you have a few new basics to pull out. I always find myself making bigger clothing purchases in the spring and fall. The Nordstrom Anniversary sale gives me a jump on those fall purchases!
