I’m writing this sitting in a hotel room, sipping a glass of wine while watching HGTV. The kids are sleeping in an adjoining room. Does life get better?!
We were home for all of two days before flying to California for the weekend. Jim and his dad are golfing at Pebble Beach. As a non-golfer, even I have to admit the courses are pretty spectacular. The views are amazing, especially on a sunny day.
Poor Sybil can’t catch a break. She has her first cold complete with a stuffy nose, watery eye and cough.
I have indulged in far too many treats over the past two weeks. I keep referring to it as spring break and eating whatever I want. My stomach is paying the price. I’m actually looking forward to getting back into our routine at home, healthy eating and all.
Do you use a Simplified Planner? I bought one last year and really liked it. This year I decided I didn’t want to spend that much money on a planner. Fast forward two months and I missed it something fierce. I missed the first couple of months, but I did get it on sale so there’s that. Next year it’s going on my Christmas wish list.
I’ve talked about my obsession with my Swell water bottle more than once (it was one of my top 3 purchases of 2016). Before we left on our recent travels, I picked up another one in the medium size (17 oz), this time in white. It’s the perfect size for traveling!
Jim and I went to the mall one afternoon this week. I snuck into Madewell to try on a few items. While browsing, I saw these pajama shorts. They are really cute and would be great for summer!
