I have some seriously talented friends. My friend Patty is a stylist and has been responsible for my hair for over 8 years. Recently she added jewelry designer to her long list of crafty accomplishments. Only Patty could convince me to indulge in the choker trend. When she brought a few of her necklaces to our last girl’s night, I couldn’t believe how much I liked it! It’s a more modern and chic version of the chokers I wore in my younger years.
Can we talk about these boots for a minute? I was looking at old posts and found this one from 2015 where I mentioned my love of the Stuart Weitzman 5050 boots. I had them on my wish list for 4 years! I’m not going to lie – they are expensive and an investment. The stars finally aligned for me in January. They were included in a Neiman Marcus sale for $200 off. I asked Nordstrom to price match and they did! Then I combined some birthday gift cards and Nordstrom reward notes to pay for the bulk of the rest of them. Now that I’ve worn them a few times, there’s not one ounce of buyer’s remorse. I’ve worn them almost every day on our east coast trip! I tend to take really good care of my shoes so I know I’ll have them for years to come.
