The Items I Use Most

Most-Used-Items

I’ve shared my investment pieces and favorite purchases of last year, but these are the items I use on a daily basis and can’t live without. Okay, that’s a bit dramatic, but all of these items make my day easier or happier.

Lively busty barrette – I fall into the wear a bra every night camp. I’ve been wearing the Lively busty bralette for a year now and I can honestly say they are the most comfortable and cutest bralettes I’ve ever worn. You can mix and match to get two bras for $55. I also wear the all-day bikini at night – you can get 3 pairs of undies for $25. (Use this link for $10 off your first purchase.)

Kari Gran lip whip – Since moving to Colorado, my skin has been super dry. The Kari Gran lip whip was a go to before, but now it’s a requirement. Lawson and Sybil even use a tiny bit each night! You can also purchase it here.

YETI Tumbler – Although I still rotate between my YETI tumbler and Swell water bottle, I find myself reaching for the YETI more and more. I like that I can throw it in the dishwasher and it’s perfect for filling with ice.

Popsocket – The popsocket is one of those items I didn’t know I needed until I tried it. I received it as a gift in my Christmas stocking last year. It attaches to the back of your phone or case. Not only can you use it to prop up your phone, but taking photos is 1000x easier, especially if you have kids and are trying to wrangle them with your other hand.

Emily Ley Simplified Planner – Each Sunday, I use the daily Simplified Planner to write out our appointments/activities for the week, as well as plan our meals. Then each night I plan my to do list for the following day. On the rare days when I don’t use my Simplified Planner, I definitely feel less productive.

Dyson Cordless Vacuum – Jim gifted me this vacuum for my birthday three years ago. I am normally not a fan of gifting household items, but it was almost love at first sight with this one. We use it daily to vacuum all the crumbs under the table. We needed a replacement piece earlier this year. The week without it was the longest (and messiest) of my (recent) life.

Cuyana Travel Set – I use the smaller case for my daily makeup and the larger one when traveling. I’ve had them for over two years and they’ve held up really well to everyday use.

Cuyana Zippered Tote – I’ve been using this zippered tote as a diaper bag for the past 2.5 years. It’s big enough to fit everything I need for the day, including diapers, snacks and water bottles. Once Sybil is out of diapers, maybe I’ll be able to downsize. For now I’m sticking with this tote.

Silicone Food Storage Bags – We have two sets of these reusable silicone food storage bags. I can’t recommend them enough if you’re trying to reduce the amount of plastic you use. We use them for sandwiches, cheese, fruits, veggies. Basically anything I would have previously stored in a ziploc bag that I would then throw away.
