There’s something about summer and the beach that makes me happy. Normally a West Coast beach girl, we headed to the other OC in Ocean City, New Jersey after spending the week in New York. It was my first visit to Ocean City. Not having any expectations, I have to say it’s pretty cute with lots of charming homes! The two days we spent at the beach were perfect.
Earlier in the week, I did a little shopping in New York and picked up these shorts at J. Crew for $25! I haven’t been much of a shorts fan the past few years, but I’m starting to build up a collection. They’re a bit dressier than jorts and the pop of color is a fun addition to my summer wardrobe. I have a feeling these will get lots of wear. At that price, I may need to stock up in a few other colors! And since the shorts were such a great deal, I splurged on a new Clare V clutch. I love the leopard version I got last year and after stumbling upon her store in Soho, I thought it was fate to add a grey one! More on my NYC adventure later this week…
