Valentine’s Day Gifts for Kids

's-Day-Gifts-for-Kids

Before I had kids, I swore I wouldn’t go nuts for every holiday, especially those that I never cared about before. Well I’m here to tell you there’s nothing to make you eat your words like parenthood. I couldn’t resist putting together 14 Valentine’s Day gifts for kids. You have less than 10 days to get ready!

I’m pretty sure it’s a simple fact…holidays with kids are fun. It’s cute how excited Lawson gets (Sybil is still a little young). It’s also a good excuse to use the holiday as a learning opportunity to talk about different topics and colors (we’re working on colors in our “play” preschool this week).

Lawson and Sybil are getting this book, sunglasses and maybe an article of clothing. I’m particularly excited about the book. We’re making an effort to name our feelings and I hope this book will help me explain them to Lawson and Sybil in a way they can understand. I’ve had my eye on the book for awhile and it happens to fit the Valentine’s Day theme! If you’re in need of other book ideas, I stand behind my holiday gift guide of kids’ books.

And because I couldn’t resist, if you’re looking for some Valentine’s Day attire for yourself, I love these tee shirts: love first, dear wine be my valentine, bisou (my favorite) and this sweater (also comes in navy).

blue sweatshirt | sunglasses | heart shirt | gingham shirt | pink sweatshirt | shirt | swimsuit | pencils | book | doll | pink shirt (also in adult sizes)| striped shirt | bow | polka dot dress

P.S. Go Eagles! It was fun to watch Jim and Lawson celebrate the victory last night. A favorite memory for sure!
