outfit 1: blazer, skinny jeans (30% off through end of today!), riding boots
outfit 2: chambray shirt, scarf, black pants, riding boots
outfit 3: striped shirt, puffer vest, dark skinny jeans (only $27!), riding boots
Two weeks ago I introduced a new series on wardrobe essentials. Riding boots are one of my favorite items for winter. They’re comfortable, stylish and can be worn with different variations. My favorite 3 ways to wear riding boots are with a 1) blazer, 2) chambray shirt and scarf, and 3) striped shirt and vest. For a dressier day, pair them with a great blazer and shirt; a graphic tee for an edgier vibe or silk vest to dress it up. On a colder day, add a scarf to a chambray shirt or a vest over a striped top.
There are a ton of options for riding boots at various price points. I prefer those with a full zipper so my pants don’t ride up when I put them on. It might be personal preference, but it drives me crazy when my pants get all scrunched.
If you’re looking for new denim to start off the year, Piperlime has 30% off all jeans through the end of today with promo GOODJEANS. They carry the most popular brands and it’s a great sale to snatch up a new pair of jeans.
I need to pick up a new pair of jeans with this event…

It really is a great sale to start off the year. Can’t wait to see what you pick up!
Cute outfit ideas! We love the classic stripes paired with the puffer vest:)

Thanks! You can never go wrong with stripes, right?!
This post has reminded me that I need to find myself a new pair of boots asap. I had an old pair which I loved and wore for years until it finally fell apart last year – boo. The pair you suggested looks similar though so maybe I’ll look into buying that one. Love look #2 by the way :)
I would definitely recommend Frye boots. They take a little breaking in, but then are really comfortable. This is my second year wearing them, but I’ve heard stories of people wearing them for 10+ years. And outfit #2 is like a comfortable old friend for me!
