We made it to the first holiday weekend of summer! It feels good, doesn’t it?! Lawson and I have had a great week in Minnesota enjoying a mix of gorgeous weather and lazy, rainy days. My dad and I went fishing for a few hours yesterday morning and caught a ton of fish. It was so much fun! Meanwhile, my belly keeps growing. Great news for baby girl, bad news for my heartburn. Luckily I know now it goes away immediately following birth. Less than 13 weeks to go!
SHOPPING
The Nordstrom Half-Yearly sale started this week. If I could actually fit into anything, I’d be buying this shift dress in blue or pink (could also double as a beach cover-up), this cupcakes & cashmere shift dress at 40% off (the chiffon top I wore in this post is also 40% off) and these steve madden sandals. At $40, these wedge sandals are a much cheaper option than the Stuart Weiztman pair I have.
WATCHING
The Scripps national spelling bee. Wow, those kids are smart. I started watching last night with my brother when it was already down to the final two. I don’t think I recognized one word. I was captivated and didn’t want either of them to miss a word!
PLANNING
For Hawaii! We’re headed to Oahu next month to celebrate Jim’s dad’s birthday. The last time we were there, I was pregnant with Lawson. It seems fitting that we’ll go again during this pregnancy. I’ve been pinning Oahu travel guides to my explore board and am getting so excited!
