Weekend Roundup

Weekend Roundup

Hello, hello! Since I posted yesterday about the anniversary sale, I wanted to catch up with my normal weekend roundup today. This week has been busy packing and listing stuff for sale. Packing has been all-consuming. Any free moment without the kids is dedicated to packing up our stuff. I finally feel like we’re making good progress. The big spaces we haven’t really started are the nursery and garage. I hope we can tackle both of them this weekend, as well as packing up some of our art/decor.

We started off the weekend with a fun Friday. Lawson was an angel today. Sybil has a cold and he was so loving to her all day. Giving her kisses and rubbing her back. It was seriously the cutest. Today we’re spending a few hours with Jim’s family and tomorrow we’ll resume packing.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

HIGH POINT:

My high point has to be that both Lawson and Sybil slept until 7am or after consistently the entire week!

LOW POINT:

I wrote about it in my Instagram post, but Thursday I wasn’t the mother I want to be. Jim left this week for LA. Single parenting is tough. I truly don’t know how people do it full time and maintain their sanity.

FINDS OF THE WEEK:

Other than the Nordstrom anniversary sale (you can find all my favorites here), I’ve been rotating between two little teether necklaces (one shown in the photo above). I never wore a teething necklace with Lawson. After Sybil kept pulling on and putting my other necklaces in her mouth, I thought maybe it was time to try one. Turns out I love wearing them as much as she loves chewing on them! They are made of silicone and can be cleaned in the dishwasher. How awesome is that?! I can’t stop raving about them.
