Friday! For some it’s even a 3-day weekend!! I forgot until yesterday we had a long weekend coming up. It was a really nice surprise! We’re heading into it without many plans, which is always nice.
We had our monthly girl’s night last night. I look forward to it every month! One of my girlfriends spent time in Napa after Christmas and another is heading there for Valentine’s Day and her birthday. Even though we were just there over Thanksgiving, I’m still jealous. Napa is definitely one of my happy places. Fingers crossed our tradition of going there every year or two will continue!

Last year I read Mindy Kaling’s Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? and had several laugh out loud moments. Similar to many resolutions this time of year, I’d like to read more. I’ve had Mindy’s newer book, Why Not Me?, on my bookshelf for months and started going to bed earlier to read for a bit. I haven’t found it quite as funny as her first, but I’d still recommend it.
WANTING
My love for the Stuart Weiztman 5050 boots is well documented. I’ve come to terms with the fact they won’t be mine this season and have turned my attention to spring and summer. Next up on my wish list are the stuart weitzman minx wedges, currently on sale for 50% off! They’re still full price at Nordstrom but they have a pretty good price matching policy if the exact size and color are in stock.
LISTENING
We started the Apple Music service in December when we hosted a holiday gathering. We haven’t gotten around to cancelling it yet (doesn’t that always happen?) and I have to say I’m enjoying listening to some different music. Our favorite station is “singer/songwriter”. I never got into Spotify or Pandora so this is my first experience with streaming music. It’s kinda fun. New options are always good!
