Did you have a good weekend? I had a pretty awesome one. Walks outside, a little yoga, early morning naps on the couch watching the Ryder Cup and a great dinner on Saturday night. We went to Earnest (formerly Cork) for AZ Restaurant Week. The deal included a starter, main entree and dessert. For dessert, Jim had the cookies with adult chocolate milk while I had the cinnamon bread pudding. I was inspired to recreate his dessert at home last night.
I found a recipe on Pinterest for The Best Soft and Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies. They really are the softest chocolate chip cookies! I did substitute whole wheat for all-purpose flour since that’s what I had at home, but I don’t think it impacted the taste at all. After pouring a glass of almond milk, I added some chocolate syrup and Bailey’s. A quick, easy and tasty dessert. It would be perfect to serve for both kids and adults (minus the Bailey’s for kids of course)!
That sounds quuiiiiteee delicious right now. Hope you had a fab weekend!

If only I could send you one Annie! Happy Monday!!
Oh my gosh – these cookies look amazing. I wasn’t scheduled to go to the store until Thursday, but I might need to make a quick trip NOW to get the vanilla pudding mix.
Maggie don’t wait until Thursday! They are super easy to make and taste delicious. The hardest part is waiting for them to get cold in the fridge for 2 hours!!
